More Photography

I went ahead and put more photographs on my Etsy today. I'm feeling very inspired this month. Although I'm stuck in the house often taking care of my cute responsbilities...

Exhibit one and Exhibit two...

Who knew that being a stay at home/working mother would be such a hard thing to do. Between pumping milk, chasing after a four year old, trying to entertain a one month old (tough crowd), it's hard.

On top of that, I'm spending a lot of time on the internet, much to my husband's dismay, networking on Etsy and other places. Who knew that networking could be so tedious. It's a constant struggle to keep up with the jones. Looking at the power houses kicking but on etsy keeps me motivated though.

One of those such "powersellers" is PolkadotClouds, who i met today while doing a little bit of critiquing.

These little pictures are handpainted and the cutest thing. Their 10x10....10 cm x 10 cm that is. The crafter is from Italy. When I first saw these, I thought that they were 10''. Sad :( But they would look cute after buting about 10 of them and putting them in a young child's room...love them.

Like I said earlier, I had a chance to post some more photography. Here it is...

Let's hope that it sells. I'm getting the views..just haven't gotten the people yet. Wish me luck....

Coaster Heaven

On this lazy post-Christmas Sunday, I made more changes to my etsy shop which included adding more products.  One of those very special additons were my new Funky Fall Coasters.  I was ecstatic to find that my husband loved them as much as I did and recommended that I make more...

Take a good look at these babies...

Lavender Bath Salts

I just posted some handmade lavender bath salt to my Etsy store. For all those interested, here is the recipe. It's quite easy.

Sea Salt
Lavender Essence Oil
Fresh Dried Lavender

Mix and serve...Best in a nice hot body toddie...

These are a few of my favorite things....

Red Velvet Art was born six years ago in a small Missouri town when craft artist, "Elsie," collaborated with her best friend and sister and started selling their creations at festivals.  The product of this collaboration is a quaint store nestled in the heart of the United States where they pump out signature creations and art worthy work capable of turning any frown upside down. I have been inspired by these girls to work hard on my craft. With hard work and create concentration, maybe i too, in six short years, can accomplish what these girls have managed to do.
